Clean room for children and List on eBay!
Every few months you have to walk through your house and collect various items to sell. Start in the family room .. look through that DVD shelf and eradicating the DVD that no longer looks. Children are particularly good DVD, those are big sellers on eBay. The shipping is cheap and easy with eBay research tools for DVD by UPC code or title can pre-compile all the important information on the DVD. All you need do is add a small description saying that the item is in good or like new and is set to go. Make sure that no scratches though, someone will be mad if you buy your scratched one that jumps during the best part: if you wrap some paper towels around them, or a crumpled plastic bag you can attach the DVD in a manila envelope and your good to go.
Next stop the boys room .. if you do not have kids then why not get some things sell! Get out those old video games or even better than it is just bought that have never been touched, because your son plays the game the same day after day! Those lists are easy because they too have the UPC codes that eBay has on file. Please try to save the game when cases come Christmas, because there will be a day when these games hit the road.
Check the closet and drawers next. Take out the stuff that was too small, too hot or too bad for the baby and clean it up for its new owner. Just because the child would not be caught dead in it, does not mean that someone else did not wear for their school photos! See all items branded? Those usually do better. I find that stuff boys usually do better than girls, especially when used, but what do I know? Have any special figurines or dolls popular. When your child moves on to Dora his talk in 'giving' to some kid who did not. That's the spirit! I remember when my son in a document given to the school where he had to draw a situation where he was giving his mother-he designed the computer to 'write' something on eBay. LOL. Anyway, back to your mission. These special characters always do well. Dora, Diego, Princess, Pokemon, etc … I remember that sometimes if stuff hard to find. Look for clothing with logos such as robes or coats that the child became too large. Gently worn shoes to a good article .. eBay holidays like shoes and shoes that were just uncomfortable or your son just got too big too fast to ruin. Moving on …
Okay, you had those guys, three years ago and there are more on the way-get rid of those maternity clothes sitting in your attic, even the swimsuit! While you hold the nursery bed, you know you do not need this. Coordinating lamp shades and furniture-coverings to add to the pile! Someone will the theme that you once loved and will be willing to buy (used) for their third child (the third is ever hand me downs). Think about it – stuff that is hardly touched and in any case is likely to be in excellent condition – especially since you went through the trouble to keep it in the first place. baby bottles are resellable, but Chuck nipples, those are not good. Any other baby stuff? Bouncer seats, strollers, highchairs these are all elements that are big sellers, just make sure you do not remember or damaged in any way .. you will not be responsible for some children of other injuries.
If you have a tween or teen age girl and she was a Once an American collector Girl then you just hit a gold mine! Such equipment and furniture are big on eBay – just make sure you know that sell them first. We know as are all adolescent girls and you will be in big trouble if he sold his stuff without her knowing! Make sure the clothes have no tears or no tears in the list description. If you still have a doll house to take photos with your ad the doll wearing a dress just make sure you tell the bidders that the doll is not included! If you are really from American Girl then make sure to use the word 'authentic' in the list, because there are many pull doll clothes on eBay and want people to know that your (including if not used) is the real thing.
Before you know it you will have enough money to go Christmas shopping and buy more stuff to fill the room overcrowded family or with a toy box. You can easily earn hundreds of dollars worth a week's eBay listings. Enjoy!
